Siemens Healthineers presented its AI-based healthcare tools at the Hospital Management Asia (HMA) conference in Bangkok, running from September 1 to 4, showing how data and new technology are reshaping patient care across the region.
Fabrice Leguet, managing director for ASEAN and head of Enterprise Services Asia Pacific and Japan at Siemens Healthineers, said healthcare systems across ASEAN face rising demand, staff shortages and more complex patient needs, even as AI and digital tools open new ways to deliver care.
He added that the real opportunity lies not just in adding more technology, but in combining innovation, clinical know-how and healthcare strategy to make care more accessible and patient-focused.
The company hosted the second edition of its ASEAN CEO Summit, themed “Redefining Healthcare, Turning Innovation into Impact.” Healthcare leaders, policymakers, clinicians and innovators explored how AI, predictive analytics, population health management and precision medicine can drive measurable improvements across health systems.
At its booth, Siemens Healthineers demonstrated AI-supported clinical pathways for stroke, cancer, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative care, along with tools linking different stages of the patient journey.
It also displayed Facility Design Twinning and 3D Workflow Simulation for testing hospital layouts, the ActExcell Operational Twin for modelling performance scenarios, and platforms like Syngo Carbon IDM and eHealth Solutions that connect patient data across departments and organisations.
